Grand Ayatollah Shirazi: God’s Generosity Leads to Human Misuse and Arrogance Towards Allah

Another daily scholarly meeting led by Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Hosseini al-Shirazi took place in his honourable residence in Qom on Tuesday, the 18th of Sha’ban. During this session, as in previous ones, the Supreme Marja addressed questions from attendees regarding various jurisprudential issues.

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi referenced verse six of Surah Al-Infitar, stating that this verse clearly indicates that the generosity of the Almighty God is what leads to human arrogance towards Him.

He further explained that God’s generosity can result in misuse by humans and foster arrogance in their relationship with the Almighty.
