France: Police launches investigation after pig head found near mosque
France’s Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin has condemned “unacceptable acts” against the Muslim community after a wild pig’s head was found near a mosque in eastern France, TRTWorld reported.
A probe into “incitement to racial hatred” has been opened after the Friday incident in Contrexeville village, the article added.
Following three other degrading incidents at mosques in France during the holy month of Ramadan, Darmanin firmly condemned the acts and expressed his support for the Muslim community.
