Grand Ayatollah Shirazi extends condolences on martyrdom of Sayyeda Fatima, reiterating importance of glorifying her rituals
The office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husaini al-Shirazi in the holy city of Qom, extended profound condolences to Imam al-Mahdi al-Muntazar, may Allah hasten his honourable reappearance, on the occasion of the martyrdom of Sayyeda Fatima Zahra, peace be upon her.
The office conveyed Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s condolences on this painful occasion, while he affirmed in a speech, followed by Shia Waves Agency, the necessity of glorifying the rituals of Sayyeda Fatima Zahra, peace be upon her, and to reveal the injustice and oppression she was subjected to by the enemies of Islam.
In his speech, His Eminence al-Shirazi said: “Sayyeda al-Zahra, peace be upon her, has a special characteristic with God (the Exalted), and whoever listens to her words and acts upon her great recommendations also has a special and lofty position with the Creator (Exalted be He).”
His Eminence explained that “the satisfaction of Sayyeda al-Zahra, peace be upon her, is the satisfaction of God Almighty, as well as angering her is like angering Allah Almighty, as per the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family.”
Grand Ayatollah al-Shirazi also stressed the necessity for all of us, men and women, to learn everything that Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra said and decided, and to understand it, act upon it, and convey it to the people of the world.
It should be mentioned that the hounarable residence of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Holy Qom held mourning ceremonies to commemorate this tragedy, attended by scholars and followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
