Indonesia-based Shia foundation offers cultural, humanitarian activities worldwide
The Indonesia-based Babul-Ilm Foundation, a Shia center, has confirmed that spreading the Islamic faith and the principles of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, are amongst the most important things that Shia institutions around the world should be involved in.
Officials at the Foundation said in statements followed by Shia Waves Agency that said “Inviting people to the path of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, and introducing the authentic Islamic faith of the Holy Prophet is a great task that we undertake through our various activities.”
They mentioned that “delivering moral and doctrinal lectures has a great impact on others, especially non-Muslims, to attract them to the authenticity of the true Shia belief and its great prophetic approach.”
Regarding its religious and humanitarian activities, the officials pointed out that “these activities are held throughout the year to commemorate the rituals of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in addition to translating important Shia books into the language of (Andes) or (Quechua) spoken by the indigenous peoples of North and South America to introduce them to the authentic Shia faith.”
The officials emphasized that “the humanitarian activities include providing financial support to poor families in Pakistan, India, Iraq, the United Kingdom, as well as Indonesia, in addition to providing scholarships and other necessary activities.”
