Residence of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi hosts Majalis to mourn martyrdom of Holy Prophet, his Sons

Mourning sessions are taking place at the residence of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatullah Shirazi, to commemorate the sorrowful martyrdom of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, and his two sons, Imam Hassan al-Mojtaba and Imam Reza, peace be upon them.

The daily scholarly sessions of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi are not held on these occasions, when His Eminence instead welcomes and receives mourners to the Majlis.

The mourning ceremony that started on Thursday, September 14, to mark the martyrdom of the Messenger of God, peace be upon him and his family, will continue in the coming days.

These gatherings are attended by the scholars and dignitaries of Qom seminary, as well as the general public and pilgrims of the shrine of Sayyidah Fatima Masoumeh, peace be upon her.
