Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Najafi participates in Arbaeen Walk

Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Najafi, joined on Saturday the pilgrims walking towards the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).

The Shia Religious Authority left Najaf to the holy city of Karbala, along with a large number of instructors and students of seminaries, to honor this pilgrimage.

Sheikh Ali Najafi, the son of Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Najafi, shared this news in a conversation with the Shia Waves Agency, adding that the Shia Marja has joined the procession to be a part of the millions of pilgrims heading to the holy city of Karbala on foot to mark the Arbaeen of Aba Abdillah al-Hussein, peace be upon him.
