Iraq waives visa fees for Lebanese; gives month extension for Gulf countries

The Iraqi Council of Ministers decided to lift entry visa fees for Lebanese coming to Iraq, and to exempt Gulf nationals from entry visas for an additional month.

The director of the official Iraqi TV office in Beirut, Amin Nasser, said in a tweet, “The Council of Ministers voted unanimously to permanently lift the entry visa fees for Lebanese coming to Iraq.”

He pointed out that “the decision to vote was made at the behest of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani.”

The Iraqi ambassador to Kuwait, Al-Manhal Al-Safi, announced the visa extension of the Council of Ministers, exempting Gulf nationals from entry visas for an additional month.
