Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation, IHC distribute one million bottles of water to Arabeen pilgrims
As part of its service and humanitarian activities during the Arbaeen Pilgrimage, the Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development has carried out its water-distribution annual campaign in Holy Karbala.
The Foundation’s director, Abdul Sahib Al-kishwan, told Shia Waves Agency that, “The Misbah al-Hussein Foundation in partnership with Imam Hussein Media Group and Imam Hussein Charity (IHC) distributed one million bottles of water to the Arba’een pilgrims.”
Al-Kishwan noted that “This campaign comes due to the importance of water, amid rising temperatures,” adding that “The campaign also included mosques, husseiniyas and houses where pilgrims are staying.”
He pointed out that “This campaign and other humanitarian and service activities are launched based on the directives and recommendations of the Supreme Religious Authority Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi to provide and meet the pilgrims’ needs during Ahlulbayt’s occasions.”
