Holy Shrine of Amir al-Mu’minin installs more than 3,000 CCTV cameras

On the occasion of Husseini Arbaeen, 3 thousand and 130 CCTV cameras will be installed at the entrances of the Alavi Shrine and the gates and entrances of the old part of the city to maintain the safety and security of the pilgrims at Imam Ali’s shrine, announced the Information Technology Center of the Holy Shrine of Amir al-Mu’minin.

The installation of new cameras has also been done to further equip the investigation and maintenance teams, as well as electronic scanners and metal detectors and the face recognition systems.
