Holy Najaf preparing to receive Arbaeen pilgrims

In preparation to receive millions of Arbaeen pilgrims, Najaf Governorate is implementing special security plans and services to ensure the comfort and safety of its honorable visitors.

Local security sources told the reporter of the Shia Waives Agency that before the implementation of all security plans, a preventive operation, including the control of Najaf Desert, has been planned to ensure the security of this strategic route, from the city of Samawa to the holy city of Karbala.

The statement also points out that some of the Husseini Mawkibs by the side of this road are equipped with a solar-energy-powered water purification system with a production capacity of 45,000 liters per hour to quench the thirst of the Arbaeen pilgrims.

It should be mentioned that the Holy city of Najaf witnesses the presence of millions of people who visit the sacred shrine of Amir al-Mu’minin Ali (peace be upon him) before leaving for the holy city of Karbala to perform the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
