The head of the security committee in the Diyala Council, Sadiq al-Husseini, confirmed that an ISIS terrorist was killed and a vehicle was burned by shelling on the borders with Salah al-Din in the north of the governorate.

Al-Husseini said in a statement that the Iraqi army forces shelled targets of ISIS terrorists in the village of Albu Juma on the border between Diyala and Salah al-Din, killing a terrorist and burning a vehicle carrying ammunition.

He added that the bombing came according to intelligence information about ISIS movements in that village, which is considered one of the deserted villages and shelter for ISIS cells from time to time.
