Iraq: Ministry of Communications to launch free-internet services during Arba’een Pilgrimage
The Iraqi Ministry of Communications has revealed its early preparations for the coming Arba’een Pilgrimage and the mechanism for providing communication services and free internet near the holy shrines in coordination with the concerned authorities.
The Ministry’s spokesman, Omar Al-Amiri, said in a press release seen by Shia Waves Agency that, “The Ministry has coordinated with the Iranian and International authorities to provide the needed support for the Arba’een Pilgrimage and the Ministry plans to launch free-internet services near the holy shrines around the year.”
Al-Amiri added that, “The preparations are not restricted to providing communication services, but there will also be medical and health-related support as well as free-contact numbers and ambulances.”
It should be mentioned that the Ministry of Communications will launch free-internet services around the holy shrines during the Arba’een Pilgrimage to enable the honorable pilgrims to call their families.
