Followers of Ahlul-Bayt take it to streets to perform Ashura Day procession in Sydney, Australia

On the Day of Ashura, like many other cities, Sydney witnessed the mourning ceremony of Abba Abdullah Al-Hussein (peace be upon him).

The Shiites of Sydney, Australia, held mourning ceremonies in different parts of the city on Ashura Day 2023 to lament the Master of the Martyrs, Aba Abdullah al-Hussein, peace be upon him.

The city of Sydney, which is the oldest and largest city in Australia, also witnessed the grand procession of thousands of enthusiastic Hosseini mourners.

The city of Melbourne, too, saw the great ceremony of Ashura attended by Muslims and Shiites of this city.

It should be noted that in addition to the Muslims and Shias of different countries in Australia, this year the Hazara Shias in this country held a splendid Azadari ceremony with unparalleled enthusiasm, while the Shias of Afghanistan face extreme restrictions and obstacles that the Taliban government has placed on performing mourning ceremonies of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
