Beirut-based office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi rejoices over blessed birth of Imam Al-Ridha

The Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in Beirut, Lebanon, has celebrated the blessed birth anniversary of Imam Ali Al-Ridha, peace be upon him.

Shia Waves correspondent attended the joyous ceremonies and said that, “The celebration included a variety of religious activities such as Quran recitation and Hadithul Kisa which was read by Sheikh Mohammad Musa Al-Amili.”

Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen, Sheikh Jalal Maash, the representative of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, delivered a speech on this occasion in which he pointed to the fact that Imam Al-Redha and Imam Al-Mehdi both revived the Husseini rituals.”

Sheikh Maash explained that, “Muslims should work on disseminating knowledge and  moral, spiritual and cultural principles of Imam Ali Al-Ridha, peace be upon him.”

 It should be mentioned that Muslims, in Muslim and Arab countries celebrated Imam Al-Ridha’s birth, by holding joyous ceremonies and cultural and religious activities.
