First Shia mourning assembly held in Germany after one-year ban
Shia followers of Ahlul-Bayt (peace be upon them) held the first mourning assembly in Germany after the practice was banned for one year, reported German newspaper General Anzeiger.
The report adds that, about a year ago, the government placed a ban on public Azadari and performance of Husseini rituals in the streets of some big German cities, stating that, most of these ceremonies were held by Pakistani Shiites living in Germany.
