International researchers : Pilgrims to Karbala are best examples for environment preservation
The journalist (Joe Adetunji) said in a report published by the “The Conversation” today, Wednesday, that preserving the environment and spreading the beautiful green atmosphere are seen during the Massive Arba’een Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
“The issue of preserving the environment and the climate is of concern to governments and researchers at global centres, especially with regard to the use of plastic materials that cause great damage to the environment,” Adetonji said, in her report, which was translated by (Shi’a News Agency).
She added, “This push for environmental consciousness extends beyond Ramadan. In recent years, Muslims have tried to introduce green practices into the shrine cities in Iraq during pilgrimage seasons in Ashura and Arba’een.”
