Conference held on Baqi Cemetery in largest Shia Husseiniya in Lucknow, India
On the immediate period leading to the blessed birth anniversary of the savior of mankind, Hazrat Mahdi, may Allah bring forward his reappearance, a conference titled “Renovation of the Baqi Building” was held in the world’s largest Hussainiya, named after Asif al-Dawlah Bahadur and located in Lucknow, India.
This conference started on Sunday March 5, 2023 at 12:30 local time, and lasted for more than 5 hours. Mirza Ejaz Athar and Mirza Yasoob Abbas, two of the top personalities of India, played a significant role in the organization of this event.
The “Renovation of Baqi” conference was simultaneously broadcast live on four Indian Urdu-language channels, namely Khadijah TV, Hosseini Channel, P5 and Azadari.
Scholars and thinkers from various parts of India, including Bengal, Delhi, Rachi, Mumbai, Kargil and Kashmir, attended this ceremony and expressed their views on the reconstruction of Baqi.
Referring to the passing of 100 years since the destruction of Baqi, the scholars of India demanded the reconstruction of the “Haram of Imams of Baqi”.
It should be mentioned that the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s representative in India, “Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimeen Sheikh Mustafa Adib” was also present at this ceremony.
