Loyal pilgrims of AhlulBayt continue their massive walk towards Holy Karbala to mark Mid-Sha’aban Pilgrimage
Shia followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) continue their march towards the holy city of Karbala on foot, on their way to commemorate the Ziyara of the Mid-Shaban.
Loyal pilgrims from the southern Iraqi provinces have begun their hundreds-of-kilometers journey of love towards the city of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, to commemorate the birth of the Awaited Imam, al-Mahdi, may Allah Almighty hasten his honorable reappearance.
Our correspondent reported that “The honorable pilgrims have few kilometers left to reach their destination – Holy Karbala. They are walking overwhelmed by love and longing, carrying in their hands the banners of loyalty and victory to the Prophet and his pure Family, peace be upon them.”
Earlier, officials announced that all security measures and plans have been laid in coordination with the Holy shrines’ departments and other official departments to maintain stability and provide full protection for the honorable pilgrims.
It is worth mentioning that Muslims in Iraq, the Muslim World and across the world will mark on Wednesday, 15th of Sha’ban 1444 AH, corresponding March 8th, 2023 the blessed birth of the Twelfth Imam – Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan al-Mahdī, may Allah hasten his reappearance.
