Over 12 million pilgrims mark martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Kadhim

Amid tight security, more than 12 million pilgrims from Iraq and other foreign countries marked, today Friday, the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Kadhim, peace be upon him, according to official statistics.

Correspondent of Shia Waves reported that hundreds of service and mourning processions stationed on the roads leading to Holy Kadhimiya to provide honorable pilgrims with food, drink and other services.

Security forces, in cooperation with holy shrines had laid tight security plans ahead of this massive pilgrimage.
