Shia followers of Ahlulbayet begin their walk towards Samarra to commemorate martyrdom of Imam Ali al-Hadi
Large crowds of pilgrims from various Iraqi provinces continue their march on foot towards the holy city of Samarra, to commemorate the tragedy of the martyrdom of Imam Ali Al-Hadi (peace be upon him) at his pure shrine.
A few days ago, pilgrims began their walk from the governorates of Basra, Nasiriyah, Diwaniyah, and Baghdad, to commemorate the painful anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Al-Hadi, peace be upon him.
Shia Muslims in Iraq and the world will commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Al-Hadi (peace be upon him) next Thursday corresponding to the third of the month of Rajab.
The correspondent of Shi’a Waves Agency reported that “huge crowds of pilgrims of different age groups set out on foot towards the shrine of Al-Askariyan Shrine (peace be upon them) in the holy city of Samarra.”
The Special Secretariat of the Shrine of Sayyid Muhammad Ibn al-Imam al-Hadi (peace be upon them both) in the district of Balad prepared to hold mourning ceremonies and receive processions and mourners on this painful tragedy.
