The Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba Hussainiya in Stockholm, affiliated with the office of the Supreme Marja, has launched its annual series of religious and cultural activities to mark the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH. The programs aim to strengthen the spiritual atmosphere and promote Islamic knowledge among the city’s Muslim community.

According to Hussainiya officials, the programs began on the first day of Ramadan and will continue for 29 days, offering a structured environment that combines worship with educational engagement.

Daily events include Iftar meals timed according to Islamic tradition, followed by a diverse program of religious and knowledge-based activities. These feature Quran recitation sessions, the reading of Du’a al-Iftitah, and theological lectures covering key topics in Islamic belief and principles, designed to reflect the spirit of the holy month.

Organizers highlighted that the initiative seeks to foster solidarity and community interaction, while enhancing religious awareness across all age groups. They emphasized that the programs provide an opportunity for Muslims in Stockholm to experience Ramadan nights in an atmosphere of faith, learning, and brotherhood.
