Shirazi-affiliated centers worldwide celebrate blessed birth of Imam Al-Mahdi

Religious and cultural events were held across multiple cities worldwide to commemorate the birth anniversary of Imam Al-Mahdi, May Allah hasten his honourable reappearance. Shirazi-affiliated centers and foundations across the world organized gatherings featuring ceremonies, lectures, and devotional recitations, reflecting the deep spiritual connection of believers with the revered figure.

In Stockholm, Sweden, the Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba Hussainiya hosted a celebration attended by members of the Shia community. The event included a lecture by Hujjatul-Islam Sheikh Zaki Al-Bayati, who discussed the life and role of Imam Al-Mahdi in establishing divine justice. The program also featured poetry recitations and religious chants in an atmosphere of joy and devotion.

In Montreal, Canada, the Imam Shirazi World Center organized a large gathering. The event commenced with congregational prayers and Quranic recitations, followed by speeches delivered by Hujjatul-Islam Sheikh Saleh Sibouyeh and Sayyed Mousa Vali. The speakers emphasized the importance of maintaining a spiritual connection with Imam Al-Mahdi and the concept of awaiting his reappearance. The program also included poetry readings, concluding with the distribution of gifts and refreshments.

In Mahajanga, Madagascar, members of the Shia community marked the occasion with a symbolic act of devotion, writing messages of allegiance and casting them into the sea. The gathering also featured the recitation of supplications, including Dua Al-Nudba and Dua Al-Ahd, along with poetry and religious hymns expressing anticipation for the Imam’s return.

In Glasgow, Scotland, the Ahlulbayt Association held a well-attended event that included the recitation of Dua Kumayl and lectures by Sayyed Mohammed Al-Hakim and Sheikh Hassan Al-Mousa. The discussions focused on the theological concept of occultation and the importance of spiritual preparation for the Imam’s reappearance. The program concluded with religious chants and poetry.

In Damascus, Syria, the Zainabiya Women’s Seminary held a commemorative event at its Hussainiya in the Sayyida Zainab district. The gathering included Quranic recitations, poetry readings, and religious chants, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. Additionally, the Shirazi Religious Authority Office in Damascus organized a similar event featuring Quranic recitations, lectures on the significance of awaiting the Imam, and the performance of religious hymns.
