Grand Ayatollah Shirazi urges use of modern tech to convey teachings of Ahlulbayt
The Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has renewed his call for utilizing modern technologies in religious propagation, aiming to convey the message of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, to the entire world, rather than limiting it to the circle of believers or Muslims alone.
In statements published on the official website of his office, His Eminence emphasized that “relying on lawful, peaceful, and correct means, as well as modern media and its advanced tools, enables people to become acquainted with the teachings of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them. This is a work that pleases the Infallibles, peace be upon them.”
Grand Ayatollah Shirazi pointed out that religious propagation is a collective obligation (Wajib Kifa’i), but he stressed that those undertaking this duty today are not meeting the global demand. This necessitates preparation and effort, each according to their capacity, to achieve tangible propagation in light of current circumstances.
Grand Ayatollah Shirazi is known for his consistent emphasis on the need to disseminate the teachings of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, through modern, peaceful methods that resonate with diverse cultures and societies. This approach contributes to promoting human values and introducing the lives of the pure Imams, peace be upon them.
