Shirazi-affiliated centres worldwide host celebrations in honor of Sha’ban blessed occasios

Shirazi-affiliated centers across the world hosted celebrations to mark Sha’ban blessed occasions of Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), commemorating the birth anniversaries of Imam Hussain, his brother abu al-Fadl al-Abbas, and Imam Zain al-Abidin (peace be upon them).

In Montreal, Canada, the Imam Shirazi World Center organized a gathering attended by large numbers of Shia Muslims. The event, which began with congregational prayers, featured a variety of religious and cultural activities.

Among the attendees was Frank Baylis, a former Canadian MP and government advisor, who is also a candidate for leadership of the Liberal Party and the Canadian prime ministership.

In Sydney, Australia, Ale-Yassin Mosque and Hussainiya hosted two consecutive celebrations on Sha’ban 2–3, 1446 AH. The events included religious speeches, poetry recitations, and devotional songs in Arabic, English, and Persian, with a large turnout of community members.

In Baghdad, Iraq, the Ahlulbayt Center for Islamic Thought welcomed scholars and intellectuals. Discussions focused on significant religious and academic topics, as well as ongoing research conducted during the daily sessions of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in Qom, Iran.

In Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, Dar Qamar Bani Hashim for Quranic Studies held a special event in collaboration with the Mustafa Foundation. The ceremony was attended by local residents and highlighted the spiritual significance of Sha’baniyah.

In Mahajanga, Madagascar, the Ahlulbayt Center gathered dozens of young followers for a celebration featuring religious and cultural activities. These events underscore the continued devotion of Ahlulbayt followers worldwide and their commitment to preserving religious traditions.
