Grand Ayatollah Shirazi reiterates calls for believers to revive Ahlulbayt legacy
The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has reiterated the need for Shia Muslims to intensify efforts to spread the teachings, culture, and rituals of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, utilizing all available resources.
The Grand Marja’s statement came during his daily scholarly session at his honourable residence in Holy Qom, which was attended by a large number of scholars, students, as well as believers on visit to the holy shrine of Sayyeda Fatimah al-Ma’suma, peace be upon her.
His Eminence highlighted the significance of reviving the legacy of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, by learning and disseminating their knowledge, referencing the guidance of Imam al-Ridha, peace be upon him: “May Allah have mercy on those who revive our Cause.”
Grand Ayatollah Shirazi outlined three main areas of Ahlulbayt’s teachings, namely: theology, jurisprudence, and ethics, emphasizing the need for balanced attention to all, calling this mission a sacred duty for those capable of undertaking it.
