Grand Ayatollah Shirazi: Spreading the teachings of Holy Quran and Ahlulbayt is an obligation on all Muslims

The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, emphasized the importance of spreading the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Infallible Imams, peace be upon them, to all people around the world, stressing that this is an obligatory responsibility on all Muslims.

The Grand Marja’s statement came during his speech at his honourable residence in the holy city of Qom, addressing scholars, clerics, and believers on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him and his family.

In his speech, he urged the believers to utilize all available media platforms, including satellite channels, newspapers, and social media, to spread the culture of the Holy Quran and the teachings of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, all over the world.

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi explained that if the teachings of the Holy Prophet and Imam Ali, peace be upon them, are made known to the world, they will be widely accepted by most people, except for a small group of stubborn individuals.

The Grand Marja also stressed that the role of media and social communication has become more crucial than ever before, noting that delivering the Islamic message accurately and profoundly can lead to widespread positive change in the world.
