Iraqi Shia community in Finland holds large Arbaeen procession
The Iraqi Shia community residing in Helsinki, Finland, organized a large march in commemoration of the Holy Arbaeen of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him.
The march saw men, youth, and children walking through the streets, carrying various banners and chanting slogans that express their loyalty and love for Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
The event witnessed significant participation not only from the Iraqi Shia community but also from Lebanese and Iranian refugees who joined in the mourning processions.
The participants emphasized their deep commitment to the values embodied by Imam Hussein’s uprising, which they continue to uphold through daily mourning ceremonies in Hussainiyat and Shia centers across Finland.
The community members underscored the importance of preserving and spreading the message of Holy Ashura, ensuring that the events of Karbala and the legacy of Imam Hussein remain alive in their hearts and the hearts of future generations.
