Grand Ayatollah Shirazi encourages youth of Holy Karbala to follow Husseini morals in serving pilgrims
The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, delivered a special address to the youth of the holy city of Karbala, urging them to follow the moral virtues of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in serving the Holy Arbaeen pilgrims.
In the address, his Eminence emphasized that the moral character of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, should be a model for the youth of Holy Karbala, encouraging them to treat all pilgrims with high moral standards, even those who may behave improperly, emphasizing that all are the guests of Imam Hussein.
Grand Ayatollah Shirazi stated: “You, the devoted youth of Karbala, and especially those who serve Imam Hussein and his brother Abul-Fadl al-Abbas, peace be upon them, must follow the example of the one whose lofty dome you live under and be exemplary in your good manners.”
The Grand Marja continued: “Millions of pilgrims come annually to visit Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and there may be some among them who do not behave well, but this does not exempt you from treating them kindly, for they are the guests and visitors of the Imam.”
Ayatollah al-Shirazi also highlighted the importance of visitors sharing their experiences of good treatment with the world, asserting that the moral values of Imam Hussein are the key to victory and a source of inspiration in every time and place.
