Holy Najaf hosts 10th Annual Women’s Conference for Arbaeen Preachers and Missionaries
In conjunction with the Holy Arbaeen Pilgrimage, Holy Najaf has hosted the 10th Annual Conference for female preachers and missionaries from the honourable Hawza.
This conference is part of the preaching project on the pilgrims road of ‘Ya Hussein Path’, which is organized under the supervision of the Najaf honourable seminary and supported by Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas Holy Shrine.
Sheikh Muslim Ijam, the head of the women’s preaching unit in the project, said in a statement followed by Shia Waves Agency, that “this conference aims to enhance the religious and jurisprudential knowledge of female pilgrims and to answer their questions and inquiries in accordance with the directives of the religious authority.”
He added that “the preachers will be at preaching stations along the pilgrims road leading to the holy city of Karbala,” noting that “the primary focus will be on the (Babylon-Karbala) and (Najaf-Karbala) routes, given the high density of pilgrims in these areas.”
