Grand Ayatollah Shirazi stresses importance of embracing youth during days of Hussaini rituals

The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has emphasized the importance of being patient with and embracing the youth, especially during the sacred days of Hussaini rituals, considering their diverse tastes and temperaments.

In his lectures titled ‘Roles of Mawakib and Hussainiyas’, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi stressed the crucial role played by the organizers of Mawakib in managing the Hussaini rituals, noting that handling such diverse groups of people, of varying ages and temperaments, is a significant challenge.

He added that despite the varied behaviors and morals of the youth, they should be embraced and treated with good character, even if they exhibit inappropriate behavior or conduct themselves in a disrespectful manner.

His Eminence pointed out the importance of not excluding the youth from Hussainiyas or Mawakib, regardless of their behavior, highlighting the need to tolerate them and treat them kindly so that they are not deprived of the opportunities for salvation and happiness that these rituals provide.
