Grand Ayatollah Shirazi urges believers to raise Husseini banner worldwide

The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husayni al-Shirazi, has called on believers to spread the holy rituals of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, across the world through raising the Husseini banner.

In excerpts published on his office’s official website under the title “Hussaini Missions,” the Grand Marja urged all believers and lovers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, to raise the flag of Imam Hussain in every corner of the world.

His Eminence emphasized that achieving this goal requires all-out effort and mobilization, stressing the importance of spreading spread the Hussaini Cause and its sacred rituals, calling at the same time for not falling short in this regard.

The call of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi comes at a time when efforts are increasing to strengthen Hussaini rituals and commemorate them worldwide, especially duting major religious occasions such as Holy Ashura and the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

It is seen as an important step in raising global awareness about the Cause of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, and the importance of his rituals in promoting human and Islamic values.
