Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation addresses Iraq’s PM to facilitate entry of pilgrims during Holy Arbaeen
Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development has called on the Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani to open the borders for those willing to participate in the upcoming Holy Arbaeen Pilgrimage and to facilitate their entry into Iraq.
The foundation, which operates under the patronage of the office of the Supreme Religious Authority Grand Ayatollah Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi, stated that it “draws the attention of the Prime Minister to the necessity of easing the entry of Arab and foreign visitors who wish to perform the Arbaeen pilgrimage in the holy city of Karbala as a humanitarian and religious duty.”
It added that it “addressed the Prime Minister’s office through an official letter on this matter, which included a reminder of the recommendations of the Supreme Religious Authority Grand Ayatollah Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi and his emphasis on facilitating all procedures for the entry of visitors and opening the borders for them.”
The foundation also praised the efforts made by the federal government in managing last year’s blessed Arbaeen pilgrimage and appreciated its positions in providing facilities and services to the hounorable visitors.
Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation emphasized that facilitating the Arbaeen pilgrimage “enhances Iraq’s position as a global religious destination and reflects the Iraqi government’s respect and appreciation for Islamic rituals and visitors from around the world.”
