Syria-based Zainabiya Hawza commemorates Martyrdom of Imam Hussein

The Husseiniya of the Zainabiya Hawza in Syria held mourning sessions to commemorate the tragic martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

The Hawza, one of the centres affiliated to Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in the Syrian capital, Damascus, started its mourning activities from the first of Muharram until the thirteenth of the holy month.

The attendees expressed their condolences and sorrow to Imam al-Mahdi, may Allah Almighty hasten his honourable reappearance, affirming their commitment to following the path of Imam Hussein and his family, peace be upon them.
