Grand Ayatollah Shirazi calls on believers to commemorate Holy Arba’een worldwide

The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has emphasized the importance for Shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, around the world to revive the Holy Arbaeen Pilgrimage to the best of their abilities.

In his Ashura speech, the Grand Marja explained that commemorating Holy Arbaeen is not merely a religious tradition but a global message that embodies the values of sacrifice and justice represented by the revolution of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

He stressed that everyone should strive to observe this ritual in the best possible way, indicating that the global commemoration of the Holy Arbaeen is increasing, which reflects solidarity with this sacred event.

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi also called for the necessity to intensify efforts to facilitate the arrival of pilgrims to the holy shrines, noting that these efforts reflect the true spirit of Imam Hussein’s rituals and enhance the values of unity and solidarity among Muslims and non-Muslims.
