Pakistan sets tight security measures during month of Muharram
The Pakistani newspaper “Express Tribune” highlighted in a special report some aspects of the security and service plan set to be implemented in the country with the advent of the month of Muharram this year.
The newspaper, as viewed by Shia Waves Agency,” reported that “the aforementioned plan was approved during a high-level meeting last Wednesday at the local government headquarters of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.”
The report noted that “one of the outcomes of this meeting was the agreement to provide uninterrupted electrical power during the period of mourning in addition to a tight security plan for the masses commemorating the eternal memory of Ashura.”
