In celebration of Eid al-Ghadir, more than 10,000 flowering trees planted in Mumbai
Mumbai celebrated the blissful occasion of Eid al-Ghadir in a unique way by planting more than 10,000 trees. This initiative carries an important message about the greatness of commemorating this event and to promote beauty and environmental conservation.
According to Shia Waves Agency, Indian media reported that “Mumbai witnessed the planting of flowering plants and perennial trees at the Mahim Junction near the city of Dargah Makhdoom Shah.”
The campaign, which lasted for a whole week, involved planting more than 10,000 perennial trees and flowering plants in celebration of Eid al-Ghadir and in remembrance of the sacrifices and heroism of Imam Ali, peace be upon him.
