Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi inaugurates new Hussainiya in Majunga, Madagascar

Shia followers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in the city of Majunga, Madagascar, celebrated the opening of Sultan al-Mu’allifeen Hussainiya.

This Husseiniya was constructed by efforts from the Shirazi Religious Authority, affirming the role of Hussainiyas in spreading the teachings and ethics of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.

The director of the Shirazi Religious Authority’s office in the city, Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Sheikh Mohammad Radi Wasaram, said, “The office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in Majunga, inaugurated a new Hussainiya in the city named Sultan al-Mu’allifeen.”

Sheikh Wasram added, “The opening of this Hussainiya is a noble and important initiative by the supreme religious authority, bringing joy to the hearts of believers in Majunga, as serves in reviving the rituals of the Ahlulbayt and spreading their sciences and knowledge.”
