In support of their Imams, Shias mark “World Al-Askariyain Victory Day”

Shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, have observed the “World Al-Askariyain Victory Day”, which is marked on the last Friday of the blessed month of Ramadan, to express support to their Infallible Imams, peace be upon them.

Al-Wala’ wa al-Fida’ wa al-Fateh Procession has begun its annual trip to Holy Samarra to support the two Infallible Imams on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.

Under the slogan “Here We Are O Askariyain” and following the directives of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, who has been naming the last Friday of the great month of Ramadan “The Askariyain Victory Day” for 50 years, Al-Wala’ wa al-Fida’ wa al-Fateh Procession began their spiritual journey towards the holy shrines of Al-Askariyain in Holy Samarra.

On this international event, Imam Hussein Media Group has announced the free live transmission to the coverage of the World Al-Askariyain Victory Day” to all media outlets and news groups.

It is worth noting that this pilgrimage caravan is one of the biggest of its kind in the history of Samarra. It is organized by Sayyid Aref Nasrullah, the head of the Public Relations Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Karbala.

Sayyed Nasrullah said in a statement received by Shia Waves that, “This year, the Procession is transporting thousands of pilgrims to Holy Samarra to commemorate and glorify the World Al-Askariyain Victory Day.”
