Madagascar-based Shirazi centres continue to hold Ramadan programs
The office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi in the city of Majunga, Madagascar, has confirmed its extensive and significant programs to celebrate the days of the holy month of Ramadan, amid youth participation.
The director of the office, Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Mohammad Reda Wasram, said in a statement to Shia Waves Agency: “The religious and cultural centers affiliated with the Supreme Religious Authority have continued their special activities to observe the holy month of Ramadan.”
He added that “Ahlulbayt Center is also continuing its various services to the Shia Muslims during this month of mercy and blessings.”
Sheikh Wasram added: “These services include holding daily obligatory prayers, organizing iftar meals for the believers, hosting gatherings for reciting supplications specific to the blessed month, as well as conducting educational and informative religious lessons and ceremonies.”
