New satellite channel dedicated to promoting Mahdawi culture launched

In conjunction with the blessed birth anniversary of the savior of humanity, Imam al-Mahdi, may Allah Almighty hasten his blessed reappearance, the Hussaini preacher Sheikh Abdulredha Maash announced the launch of a new satellite channel dedicated to promoting the Mahdawi culture.

Speaking to Shia Waves Agency, Sheikh Maash said: “Given the importance of raising awareness about the issue of Imam al-Mahdi al-Muntadhar and the Mahdawi culture, the satellite channel ‘Mahdawiyoun’ was launched.”

He further mentioned that “The channel began its live broadcast on the Nilesat satellite at frequency 11555, coinciding with the auspicious birth anniversary of Imam al-Mahdi and the joy of the Shia followers awaiting him in the blessed month of Sha’ban.”

Activists and researchers expressed their great interest in the initiative of launching such an important channel to raise awareness about the Infallible Imam and the sacred issue of waiting for his honourable reappearance.

Imam Hussain Media Group also welcomed the launch of the new satellite channel, affirming that it “adds to the purposeful Shia media outlets and will be a good platform for raising awareness about the great Mahdawi issue.”
