Large crowds of believers offer congratulations to Grand Ayatollah Shirazi on Imam Al-Mahdi’s blessed birth

The blessed house of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the holy city of Qom, received a large gathering of believers on the auspicious occasion of the birth of Imam Mahdi, may Allah hasten his reappearance.

The office of His Eminence said that “crowds of Shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, including scholars, students of religious sciences, and visitors to Sayyeda Masoma, peace be upon her, flocked towards His Eminence’s house to offer congratulations on this auspicious occasion.”

The son of His Eminence, Ayatollah Sayyid Hussein al-Shirazi, welcomed the visiting believers, expressed his happiness with over their visit and joined them in celebrating the birth of Imam Al-Mahdi, peace be upon him.

The office of the Supreme Religious Authority also quoted His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Shirazi emphasizing “the importance of commemorating this occasion and venerating its rituals, so that the entire world may recognize the greatness of this immaculate Imam and what his noble government will be like after his sacred reappearance.”

It was also reported that His Eminence emphasized that “those who deviate from the path of the awaited Imam, peace be upon him, will perish, whether they are young or old, knowledgeable or ignorant,” stressing that Imam Mahdi, peace be upon him, “is the Imam of the era and the guardian of time in this world and the hereafter, and through him alone, creation will attain happiness in both worlds.”
