Shia Muslims worldwide begin celebrating blessed births of Sha’ban

The holy shrines and places of worship in Iraq and the world have begun celebrating the blessed month of Sha’ban amid an atmosphere of joy and happiness.

According Shia Waves correspondents in various countries, Holy shrines in Iraq, Syria, and Iran in addition to mosques, Husseiniyahs, and Islamic centers have begun their celebratory activities and events to honor the blessed birth of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

The holy shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, carried out special preparations to commemorate the fragrant memory of the births of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.

Shia Waves correspondent in Holy Karbala said: “The shrine of Imam Hussein was decorated with natural flowers and roses today, in preparation for the arrival of the month of Shaaban and the commemoration of the auspicious births.”

The third day of the blessed month of Sha’ban marks the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet’s grandson, Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, followed by the birth Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas and Imam Ali Zain al-Abidin, peace be upon them, on the fourth and fifth days consecutively.

It should be mentioned that millions of visitors will flock from inside and outside Iraq to Holy Karbala to celebrate the great births and prepare for the greater event of the mid-Shaaban pilgrimage, the anniversary of the birth of the savior of humanity, Imam al-Mahdi, may Allah Almighty hasten his honourable reappearance.
