Muslims and Shias worldwide commemorate al-Mab’ath an-Nabawi
Muslims and Shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, celebrated worldwide the occasion of the Holy Prophet’s Isra and Mi’raj, which is considered one of the greatest Islamic events marked on the 27th of the month of Rajab.
The day of Isra and Mi’raj is the day when the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, was sent with prophethood, and its observance includes special events and programs held at holy shrines and Husseiniyat inside and outside Iraq.
The holy shrine of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in the holy city of Najaf witnessed the influx of visitors since the early morning of Thursday to commemorate the blessed prophetic occasion.
On this auspicious occasion, the office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in the holy city of Qom, conveyed words and congratulations on the occasion of Isra and Mi’raj, in addition to emphasizing the importance of commemorating this blessed day.
His eminence said, speaking about the great Prophetic biography: “The Noble Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, did not initiate war, but it was the enemy who attacked the Noble Messenger, and this was also the case with Imam Ali, peace be upon him, and Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and this is the reality of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.”
The Shirazi Religious Authority explained, “If today or any other day, we apply the approach of the Noble Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, and Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in our homes, workplaces, companies, and countries, to achieve what was achieved in the world fourteen hundred years ago, you will see that millions of people will enter Islam.”
He pointed out that “the entry of people in groups into Islam during the time of the Noble Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, was not a miracle or an extraordinary act, but rather a natural result and the humanitarian project of the Prophet of Islam, peace be upon him and his family.”
