Iraqi activists expect increase in number of pilgrims during martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim
Iraqi religious activists expect that the holy city of Kazimiyah in the capital Baghdad will witness a large million-person participation to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Musa al-Kazim, peace be upon him.
The activists considered that “this visit will be the largest compared to previous years,” explaining in separate interviews with Shia Waves Agency that “the pilgrimage of Imam Musa al-Kazim, peace be upon him, sees an increase in the number mourners each year.”
They pointed out tgat “the early official meetings and preparations by the central government confirm that the size of the visit will be very large and huge.”
The activists stressed the “need to exploit this painful occasion to introduce the honorable positions of the oppressed Imam and how he confronted the tyrants and the oppressors, and the prison was dearer to him than to side with the corrupt.”
It should be mentioned that the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, is witnessing the arrival of large crowds of visitors who come on foot to commemorate the great tragedy of the martyrdom of Imam Musa ibn Ja’far al-Kazim, peace be upon him.
