White banner of joy raised atop Holy Shrine of Imam Ali ahead of his blessed birth anniversary

The white banner of joy and happiness—with the phrase “Waleed Al-Kaaba written on it”— raised yesterday, Saturday, atop the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in Holy Najaf to mark his blessed birth anniversary.

The phrase “Waleed Al-Kaaba” on the white banner refers to the fact that Imam Ali, peace be upon him, is the only person to be born inside the Holy Kaaba; one of the countless characteristics that Allah Almighty bestowed upon him.

Millions of Shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, from all over the world will celebrate the blessed birth anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, at his Holy Shrine in Holy Najaf, on the 15th of the blessed month of Rajab.

Shia loyalists of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, have emphasized the importance of this occasion in spreading love, tolerance and the uplifting values of Islam, which Imam Ali, peace be upon him, embodied.
