Shia followers of Ahlulbayt walk toward Holy Samarra to commemorate martyrdom of Imam Ali Al-Hadi

Massive crowds of pilgrims from various Iraqi provinces have set off on foot towards the holy city of Samarra to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali al-Hadi, peace be upon him.

Pilgrims have began their processions from the provinces of Basra, Nasiriyah, Diyala, Baghdad, and others.

The martyrdom of Imam al-Hadi (peace be upon him) will be observed on Sunday, the third day of the blessed month of Rajab.

The holy shrine has prepared to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali al-Hadi, peace be upon him, by organizing mourning programs and welcoming processions and mourners.
