German newspaper releases short documentary on Arbaeen Massive Walk
The German daily newspaper “Sued Deutsche” published a short documentary film about the beginning of the Arabeen Massive Walk from the southernmost point of Iraq, heading towards the holy city of Karbala, to commemorate the Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein bin Ali bin Abi Taleb “peace be upon them.”
The newspaper, which is one of the most outstanding German newspapers, said in its documentary entitled “The Muddy March”, and was translated by Shia Waves Agency that “these believers had to start their march from the coastal city of Basra in the far south of Iraq, to the shrine of the Master of Martyrs (peace be upon him) at a distance of about (500) km.
The documentary showed footage of the pilgrims walking towards Holy Karbala anid high temperatures, which is typical of the weather of the city of Basra in the summer season.
