Grand Ayatollah Shirazi urges missionaries, preachers to make ‘Baqee’ reconstruction demands top priority
The Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has called on scholars, preachers and missionaries to give the issue of al-Baqi’ the utmost importance, and the need to constantly demand the reconstruction of the demolished pure graves of the Infallible Imams of AhlulBayt, peace be upon them, and the honorable companions.
According to the official website of his Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi stressed the need to take advantage of the modern media platforms to influence the global public opinion.
In his speech, his Eminence said, “The world today is very different from the past in terms of the availability of freedom, diversity and the variety of the media platforms, which has made it easier to influence the global public opinion.”
His Eminence called on the believers not to despair or be negligent in communicating the causes and injustices of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, calling at the same time for the necessity of concerted efforts in order to disseminate the true religion.
The Supreme Religious Authority had repeatedly called on all Muslims to participate in commemorating the ‘World Baqee Day’, considering it a legal responsibility, to inform the world of the oppression and injustice inflicted upon AhlulBayt and their holy sites.
