On Saturday, UN human rights chief expressed concern over the situation in Sudan, urging the government and the civilian opposition to work towards reinstating a civilian-led government.
The statement came after pro-democracy activists in Sudan staged protests against the army and paramilitaries on Thursday following another delay in the signing of an agreement to restore the transition to a civilian government.
It should be mentioned that civil opposition in Sudan has been battling against military coup governments for decades.
