A Pakistani journalist calls on Pakistan leaders to follow Imam Ali’s policies to thrive economy
Pakistani journalist, Farhan Bukhari, stressed that the progress of economy and solving the problem of poverty in Islamic countries, including his country, Pakistan, will only be achieved by returning to true Islam embodied in the policy of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) and his just government.
Bukhari said in an article published by ‘The News’ newspaper on the anniversary of the honorable birth of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), seen by Shia Waves Agency: “Pakistan, at a time when it is facing the largest economic crisis in its history, the guidelines for the rules of governance set by the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) provides a timely roadmap for a future based on unprecedented reforms.”
The writer added, “These wise policies of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) inspired many political leaders, especially in caring for people and the poor and guaranteeing their rights, as well as the rules of governance and its economic policies.”
Bukhari recalled the previous statement of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, in which he described Imam Ali (peace be upon him) as “the most just ruler known to mankind,” and advised Arab and Islamic countries to take Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him) as a role model “in establishing a system based on justice.”
It is worth noting that the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, the Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, stressed the need for governments in Arab and Islamic countries to act according to the great commandments of the Noble Prophet, peace be upon him and his pure family, and his Successor.
